Over the years, the Whistler Weasel Workers have received considerable press. From Brian Williams bemoaning the absense of Owen Carney and his Weasel Workers in his TV commentary during event delays at the Nagano Winter Olympics, to countless printed articles.

Carney to be inducted into Canadian Ski Hall of Fame

Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships 2003

Gold Medals & Face Plants


FACE PLANT to Valerie Ward, a long time Whistler Weasel Worker and instructor at Kimberley, who has literally earned herself a Face Plant Award. As she was delivering a huge bag of lunches for Weasel Workers at the Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships in Whistler, she fell flat on her face, suffering a black eye and scraped face! Poor Valerie had to brave the inclement weather for the duration of the week as well as face her students at school back in Cranbrook on Monday. What dedication! Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships 2002

Who's Going to Salt Lake City?
Well, quite a collection of athletes, many officials and volunteers are heading to Salt Lake to volunteer their alpine skiing knowledge and expertise at the Games .
